- A ‘dropper’,
- 8 glass jars or bottles containing different solutions,
-2 sweet (sugar water),
-2 bitter (almond mixture),
-2 acid (lemon),
-2 saline (salt water),
- Water for washing out mouth.
It is better that the solutions should be in dark bottles, so that the colors of the solutions cannot be distinguished. The distinction of red and black droppers are not necessary, in fact it is a bit more of a challenge if these are all the same color.

The look of the bottles is identical. The control of error is the teacher who must judge if correct.

Presentation
- Drop a few drops of the solution on the tongue.
- He has to remember the taste.
