Stories and Poems

Stories and Poems

Presentation

  1. Tell as well as read as many stories as possible to the children.
  2. Whether you are telling a story or reading aloud from a book, make it lively and interesting.
  3. Children should be taught poems as soon as possible. They love the rhythm of words and learn them by joining in with you when you read.
  4. Nursery rhymes should also be a regular feature, either with music or by recitation.
