Material

  • The short bead stair. 
  • A selection of sum cards corresponding to the sets in addition.

Presentation

  1. The work is done at the child’s table.
  2. The child arranges the stair into a triangle.
  3. Take a sum sheet from Set 1.
  4. The child reads the sum and finds the necessary bead bar.
  5. He counts the number to be taken away and covers them with his fingers.
  6. He counts the remaining beads and records his answer in the red block.
